sock talk

being a jewish tween (and well into my late teens) the bold red stripe of my classic canadian wooly was a crucial component to the bottom half of each outfit. pants actually got tucked into these socks allowing them to shine in all their glory. i have expanded on my love for cozy socks, accepting marled thick cottons, and potentially a mountaineering pattern fit for the patagonia. on those sleety days when hosts make me take my shoes off at the front door these socks act as a slipper and a statement (“i know how to rough it, i can solo a canoe, and look how detail oriented i am about my outerwear.”)
