i was discussing leopard/cheetah/jungle cat coats with my friend quinn the other day, she was saying how she wanted to get the zara leopard even though it’s kind of cliche. i agree with her that what seemed like the secret cool cape for those willing to be bold has lost some of it’s impact with all the fast fashion stores pumping them out like hot cakes. i think it takes the right woman to wear a feline coat appropriately. shoulders back, head up, simple outfit, a potential red lip for night… if you get it right, it’s one circumstance where i argue to say faux is acceptable.
