this victorian house on dovercourt was on the market in toronto about one year ago. i am not in love with every decor choice (i’d probably make it a little less black and white and not quite as design within reach catalogue) but i really love it- so much so that it’s still on my mind. in toronto we see a ton of flips but for the most part they’re pretty cookie cutter (carrera marble kitchen counter, gas fireplace, subway tile, dark wide plank wood floors) not that there’s anything wrong with all of these design elements, just all together they read predictable and leave me thinking i would prefer to get a dinge pot house and decide on my own where to spend and save. dovercourt was different, couldn’t have picked most of the upgrades better myself. the little i’ve learned about the flipper himself is that he’s from france and this was his first toronto project- quelle surprise!
