yves salomon army parka

this winter i am giving myself a big fat pat on the back for my decision to get this parka a few years back. i first saw it in jeffreys new york and like most items in that amazing store assumed i was just daydreaming when i drenched it over my body and admired myself in the mirror. after months of toiling and canada goosing my way through snowstorms i determined that the right parka is a justifiable investment (it’s essentially my second skin for 8 months out of the year.) the parka is serving me well- after 3 years i still love her as much as when i first laid eyes on her.

cement head

strange that on a day when it is -22 degrees outside i am collecting photos of this medium but hey- they’re inspiring me. cement can be cold on the feet and hard on the back but when it’s warmed up with the right accoutrements it has a beautiful rawness.
