inconspicuously hiding a bad butt day part II

before making a purchase i often ask myself two questions “is this 80’s inspired?” and/or “is this a 90’s throwback?” if the answer is yes to either i put down the item and never turn back. my greatest fashion fear is to look like an american apparel allegiant piling on ironic items proving my adoration for my so called life. through many a closet purge i have held onto my vhs box set of the series, isn’t that enough? this tie around the waist throw back takes no card swiping at all, not so sure i’d do it with a plaid (could be a giant step into my 90s fear) but with frigid temps, and layers galore i like the idea of a safety sweater around the waist.

the row and i had our first relationship struggle last week at holt renfrew. i finally saw the day luxe bag in person. i looked at my friend randy and said “hmm does it really look that expensive?” the answer was no. dare i say it almost looked zara? today we are back on track. i love the pics from their a/w 14 show. i think i needed those chunky sweaters and layered coat sitche’s yesterday. so yummy. also loving the masculine shoe/sock combo with those beautiful minimalist dresses.
