not to come across snobish but i don’t like wearing cheapy accessories (bags, jewels, shoes.)  when it comes to jewels the ones i happen to love are way out of reach unless i were to have a richard burton love affair. this monique péan jewelry is so organic looking, perfectly imperfect. she uses wooly mammoth ivories, dinosaur bones, raw diamonds.. all sustainable obscure stones and metals. i absolutely love these designs, and dream of decorating myself with them. not to encourage copycats but i wish i could find a jewelry line that would cost less than the equivelant of a car that gives me the same feeling.
