allow me to be clear when i say i am NOT against big honking gems and treasures especially real ones. the costumy sorts a la j.crew have sort of taken away from the excitement that once was a statement cocktail decoratif in that it is now to easy to access for all… almost seems business casual means a button down shirt paired with a j.crewish necklace under the collar. i’m still guilty- i do have a couple that i bring out. the other undeniable ubiquity is the teeny tiny pieces layered, or on their own. myself i think less is more when it comes to these dainty sorts- too many and it’s hard to decipher if any of them are nice… also once you have sooo many small ones could you have almost bought one big one?
