be it a birk, adidas, isabel, or with hope celine the summer slide is in full effect. in a world where vortex’s spin their freezing air it’s no wonder the chosen sandal is one that functions with a sock- they say fashion mimics history and this year has not promised a sun kissed moment for our cold little toes. i conformed with a good sock/sandal combo from my camp days in canada- for others i understand if the trend appears illegal. here’s to hoping we get a few days to let these simplistic easy sliders shine on their own with a bare foot.
