brown town

gone are the days of whiting out every once of wood, whitewashing floors, and throwing a little elephant’s breath on the walls. time’s are a changing. i’m starting to notice the palette move from blacks greys and white’s to warmer territories of browns and beiges (the abundance of berber rugs could be to thank)- not that the two palette’s can’t marry somewhere in between. there was a time not long ago when dark wood looked dated and soo wrong- as we move into another cycle it’s beginning to look rich and modern again. would love to start playing with this new palette- i am guilty of a very white, grey, and black home.
