sputnik lights

i’m loving sputnik lights as of late. i seem to be attracted to the brass variations, in particular those that are asymmetrical. most of the photo’s i’m finding are of smaller chandeliers, if i hung one myself it would probably be on the larger scale.

TBT breton stripes

first and foremost may i immediately direct your attention to the photo of picasso- at first glance i thought he had creepy goblin hands and thought i unlocked the mastermind to his success, upon further inspection turns out it’s the illusion of breadsticks. breton stripes are the white tee’s of pattern- they go with everything, under a blazer, easily played with other patterns, or modestly on their own with jeans. for a classic breton saint james is the brand to turn to, nice boat neck, easy stripe, perfectly misses the shoulders, all it needs is a good roll of the sleeves. in celebration of throw back thursday the most holy day of the week i may just have to go treat myself to a fresh saint james for summer.
