hide rugs are one of the easiest decor items to add a little bit of that eclectic global panache to a space. their interesting shape makes them easy to throw anywhere without worrying if it’s the perfect size. throw ’em on top of another rug, draped over a couch, in a modern space, traditional… doesn’t matter- you can’t really err on this one. the bonus is hides are everywhere, and can be found for a reasonable price if you go on the hunt (not with a gun, more like to a flea market.) zebra may be slightly harder to come by ergo sparking my interest- have to go a little further than ikea for this exotic touch.
