everyone’s got a watch guy, a sunglass guy, a diamond guy, and now go find yourself a tile guy (or gal to be fair.) the more unique, varied, and antique the better- often the most beautiful tiles are from imported from foreign countries, spain, portugal, morocco, cuba to name a few. tiles ad an artistic component to a space- the options are endless. for safer options i still love a classic hexagon, subway, basket weave, marble, and black and white variations. just based on the number of feet atop tile photographed in birds eye on instagram they are clearly trending and appreciated by many (i’m guilty of a tile beneath foot insta myself, tough to resist)
