TTH’s floral reinvention
by jolevitan
i’m so inspired by taylore tomasi’s mid 30’s life swap from magazine editor/art director/street style ruler to florist. what a humbling, shift untying her aquazzura’s to slip into some birk’s and get her hands dirty. i can absolutely relate, my inner struggle with pursuing a career in fashion is materials vs. the simple life… the yearning to have both. on one hand i SO don’t care what bag, what shoe, blah blah blah- i could totally have two pair of jeans a grandpa sweater and three t-shirts, my dog, my man, a garden… on the other my metropolitan self desires the ability to express through beading, metallics, stiletto’s. it’s reassuring to see others step in and out of different careers, evolving and not feeling indebted to one lifestyle. the arrangements @tthblooms (follow her on insta) are so so beautiful, and once in a while you get to see a little glimpse of TTH’s still fashionable self… can take the girl out of the style.com paris fashion week street style gallery, can’t take the street style outta the girl.
