if you’re not playing water polo, or butterflying your way to fit- what more do you need than a basic little plunge pool? it’s certainly an option if your outdoor space is limited- big dreams can be accomplished- in a pleasant little body of water. i think they’re charming, euro, less is more, a therapeutic accompaniment to a chic little garden. so what if every kid on the block isn’t begging for access?

pebble is such a cute word

here i sit perched on my balcony, hotel to my left, construction in the forefront, cars zooming by- never the less, it is my own carved out urban little lounge that i choose to blog from most every decently temperate morning. for my husband and i, any sort of upgrade in regard to outdoor space will bring a fruitful joyfulness to our quality of life. seeing that i am pretty stuck on living in the downtown core of t.o. this will most likely (but still dreaming) mean a cozy little square to work with, i’ve noticed a lot of these quainter backyards are pebbled and looking rather good. i’m also thinking this is an economical and environmentally friendly endeavour. just like ’em, they give a natural feel, and seem like a good substitute for all of the hassles that come with grass.
