one of my least favored experiences of 2013 was the task of registering at ashley’s. i had no idea what i want in the way of china, serving platters, silverware, etc. quite frankly i can’t see past the day when my hub and i eat off of anything more elaborate than a whole foods box, let alone a plate that isn’t dishwasher safe. yesterday i happened to revisit the scene of 2013 and these herme’s bleu d’aillures dishes really got me going. they are so beautiful that i can’t stop thinking about them. i tried tallying them in my head a few times over but never got to the final price- i’m sure it’s hefty. i’m thinking i could potentially make it happen by mixing in a few pieces with some simple white dishes.
