Ridiculously cool renditions from Sanayi 313 (both photos above)

I’m so down with the Babouche for spring. The style is birthed from a traditional North and West African shoe that dates back centuries. With the thinnest of soles, slightest of frames, and the ease of just a simple slip into- makes it pretty just right for Spring- I’m always in when it comes to exploring minimal, flat footwear options.

they’re like a smoking shoe meets loafer. as per usual the house of céline opened it’s doors to this one, deeming them au courant. i have had my eye on the tabitha simmons breed for a while now- i’ve always loved a good repetto but sometimes i just don’t want to look so innocent- need a little structure and point to feel like a sophisticated don’t mess kinda gal. think denim with an unfinished hem, fine knit cashmere turtleneck, blazer, long overcoat, beautiful scarf, and these kick ass foot toppers- ankles frigid perhaps- but are you gonna second guess that woman?
