oh suzani
when i was in indonesia i came home with one souvenir, a beautiful blue batik throw. throw’s are the scarf of the home (when you’re lucky they can play both roles.) i just decided my travel takeaways are going to be throws from every country i go to that have an exciting textile to offer. unfortunately these suzani’s are found in tajikistan, uzebekistan, and kazakhstan which are not on my hit list any time soon.
