white shirt girls are a pretty dedicated tribe. the simplicity, laissez faire, boy meets girl, timeless quality of the garment is tough to match. however, i’m wide open to some of these remixes- the open back touch over at tome is ultra modern, pleats and layers at 10 crosby derek lam are nice and feminine- a belled sleeve, i say yes, a peacock like tail- um for sure, i’m open to a ruffle, a split back, perhaps even a bit of belly reveal. putting the designer renditions aside i say what a perfect opportunity to style up the ones you got, flip ’em, tie ’em, layer underneath, or do this crazy cool trick.
